Overview
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is built around the decisions practitioners make when they need to plan and follow a testing workflow from requirement analysis through closure while keeping scope, risks, evidence and responsibilities visible. Learners move from stlc purpose, participants and relationship to the sdlc into requirement analysis, then apply test planning in realistic exercises. Using a sample release, learners identify test conditions, estimate effort, prepare an environment, organise execution and assess completion against agreed entry and exit criteria. Discussion and review activities highlight common failure modes, responsible tool use and the evidence needed to communicate confidence. The resulting workflow helps them understand what professional testers produce, how progress is controlled and when evidence is sufficient for a release decision.
