Overview
This course develops the practical reasoning needed to design automation execution for elastic cloud environments while controlling configuration, security, cost, observability and parallel-resource use. Rather than treating cloud-based test automation as a list of terms, it links cloud automation use cases and architecture choices, hosted versus self-managed runners and device services and containers and immutable test-runner images to realistic product risks and team workflows. Learners containerise a runner concept, model on-demand test infrastructure, configure parallel workloads, manage artefacts and secrets and examine browser, device or service test execution across cloud resources. Learners compare alternatives, document assumptions and check results against explicit expectations. They can evaluate cloud execution as an engineering trade-off, not simply a faster place to run the same unstable suite.
