Overview
From the first exercise, Git & GitHub Basics for QA treats quality as an engineering and communication discipline. Learners practise how to use version control confidently for test assets, code review, collaboration and traceable changes without disrupting a shared repository, beginning with version control for quality work and progressing through repository setup and the working-tree lifecycle to staging and commits. Learners create branches, commit focused changes, inspect history, resolve a simple conflict and collaborate through issues and pull requests using a QA-oriented sample project. The work is reviewed for clarity, repeatability and relevance to real delivery constraints. They finish able to contribute test cases, automation code and documentation through the same controlled workflow used by modern delivery teams.
