Overview
Effective practitioners need to know what to do, why it matters and how to recognise a weak result. Page Object Model (POM) develops that judgement by helping learners separate test intent from interface mechanics using page objects and reusable components without creating oversized abstraction layers. The programme integrates why interface automation becomes brittle, page object model principles and common misconceptions and identifying pages, components and domain actions rather than teaching them as isolated topics. Participants refactor a brittle browser suite, model pages and components, move synchronisation to appropriate boundaries, preserve assertions in tests and review trade-offs as the interface evolves. They learn not only how to create page objects, but how to keep them cohesive, observable and aligned with user behaviour.
