Overview
Teams create better software when quality activities are deliberate, explainable and proportionate to risk. SDET Real-World Capstone Project helps participants design, implement and defend an end-to-end SDET solution for a realistic product with changing risks and delivery constraints through a progression covering capstone brief, stakeholders and technical constraints, architecture review and quality-risk model and test strategy, layers and automation backlog. Learners analyse architecture, select test layers, write production-quality automation, integrate CI, manage data and environments, diagnose seeded failures and present coverage, trade-offs and technical debt. Each exercise asks learners to interpret evidence, refine their approach and communicate findings in language that technical and non-technical stakeholders can use. The capstone creates portfolio evidence of engineering decisions and iteration, not only a repository containing scripts.
