Overview
SQL & Database Testing gives learners a structured route to validate stored data, relational rules, transactions and application-to-database behaviour through targeted SQL checks. The learning begins with database-testing scope before connecting the subject to relational modelling for qa and test-data design and safe environment practices. Participants inspect schemas, design test data, compare UI and API actions with database state, test constraints and CRUD operations, and investigate integrity problems using reproducible queries. Activities emphasise evidence, traceability and sound judgement, so participants can explain why a technique is appropriate instead of following steps mechanically. They produce a small database-testing case study that shows how data evidence can strengthen functional and integration testing.
